La serie compatta di PLC XC150 combina un'architettura di controllo moderna e ampie interfacce di comunicazione in un unico dispositivo. Oltre a Ethernet, offrono varie combinazioni di interfacce (Profibus-DP, CANopen, RS485, RS232, SmartWire-DT). Per le soluzioni di Lean Automation, l'XC150 offre una funzione di interfaccia diretta con lo SmartWire-DT e consente quindi la comunicazione con il livello del dispositivo di commutazione. La programmazione viene eseguita in conformità alla norma IEC 61131 (CoDeSys). tutti i controllori XC150 sono dotati di un server web integrato.
