The EX30 series from Panasonic represents a family of ultra-slim fiber optic photoelectric sensors designed for high-density mounting in confined spaces. These sensors are available in thru-beam and diffuse reflective modes, with sensing distances ranging from 50 mm for diffuse reflective types up to 800 mm for thru-beam variants. The series includes models with NPN and PNP output configurations, as well as light-ON and dark-ON operating modes, all featuring a 2-meter cable connection. These photoelectric sensors are primarily used in industrial automation environments, including packaging lines, assembly systems, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and electronic component handling.
