EPIC KIT: Industrial Connectivity and Power Distribution Solutions
The EPIC KIT category encompasses pre-assembled industrial connector kits and power distribution units designed for modular automation systems. These kits typically include multi-pin rectangular connectors (e.g., 6, 10, 16, or 24 poles), hoods, housings, and cable glands, rated for voltages up to 690V AC and currents from 10A to 100A, depending on the configuration. They are engineered for harsh environments with IP65 to IP68 protection ratings, ensuring dust and water ingress resistance. The kits often feature crimp or screw termination contacts, supporting wire sizes from 0.14 mm² to 10 mm². They are commonly referred to as heavy-duty connectors, industrial plug-and-play systems, or modular interface kits in global markets.
These kits are deployed in industrial control cabinets, motor control centers, robotic workcells, and power distribution panels. They are critical in sectors like automotive manufacturing, material handling, renewable energy (solar and wind), and process automation. The EPIC KIT simplifies field wiring by providing a complete, tested assembly for connecting sensors, actuators, drives, and PLCs to power and signal lines. They are also used in temporary power setups for construction sites and event infrastructure, where rapid deployment and reliability are essential.
Subcategories include EPIC KIT with single or double lever locking mechanisms, and variants with integrated EMC shielding for noise-sensitive applications. Key article codes follow a pattern like EPIC-KIT-16P-10A-690V, where '16P' indicates pole count, '10A' the rated current, and '690V' the voltage class. Other common codes include EPIC-KIT-24P-16A-500V and EPIC-KIT-6P-32A-400V, each tailored for specific load requirements. These kits are available with pre-wired connectors or as loose components for custom assembly.
Partnering with Electric Automation Network ensures access to genuine EPIC KITs with real-time pricing and global express shipping. Our engineering team provides personalized support for selecting the correct pole count, voltage rating, and environmental protection for your application. We offer detailed technical datasheets, 3D CAD models, and compliance certifications (UL, CE, IEC) for every kit. This reduces downtime and ensures seamless integration into your automation architecture.
