Bussmann Series High Speed Fuses are current-limiting protective devices designed for the semiconductor and power electronics industry. These fuse-links, also known as ultra-rapid fuses or semiconductor fuses, are engineered to provide superior short-circuit protection for diodes, thyristors, IGBTs, and other power electronic components. Available in a wide range of amperages from 20 A to 1750 A and voltage ratings from 550 V to 2000 V AC, they come in various physical sizes including DIN 000 and size 3 formats. The range includes both aR (partial range) and gR (full range) characteristics, with single indicator functionality for quick visual identification of blown fuses. These high-speed fuses are characterized by their extremely low I²t values, ensuring minimal thermal and mechanical stress on protected components during fault conditions.
