L'interblocco a molla si presta in modo ottimale alla protezione del personale. Pertanto, ogni porta rimane chiusa in modo sicuro anche durante un'interruzione di corrente. In caso di emergenza, la protezione deve essere aperta da un meccanismo di sblocco ausiliario. Gli interblocchi ad azionamento magnetico sono utilizzati per la protezione del personale e del processo. Il coperchio di protezione si blocca quando viene applicata la tensione, in caso di interruzione di corrente, è possibile accedere direttamente all'area protetta. Con annuncio indipendente della posizione della porta, adatto per l'uso con dispositivi elettronici secondo IEC/EN 61131-2
