Series 36 miniature PCB relays from Finder are compact electromechanical switching devices designed for direct soldering onto printed circuit boards. These relays feature a 10 A rated current capacity, making them suitable for moderate power switching applications. Available in 1-pole (1P) and 2-pole (2P) configurations, they support coil voltages from 5 VDC to 110 VDC, with a typical coil power consumption of 400 mW. The series includes both monostable and bistable (latching) versions, with dielectric strength up to 4 kV between coil and contacts. Their sealed construction allows for automatic wave soldering and cleaning processes, meeting RT II environmental protection standards. These relays are recognized globally as PCB relays, miniature power relays, or signal relays depending on the application context.
These relays are primarily used in building automation systems, HVAC controls, industrial control panels, and home appliance electronics. Common installations include programmable logic controllers (PLCs), timer modules, temperature controllers, and security systems. They are also found in elevator controls, lighting management systems, and pump control circuits where reliable switching of loads up to 10 A is required. The compact footprint (approximately 28 x 10 x 15 mm) makes them ideal for high-density PCB layouts in automation cabinets and distributed control systems.
The Series 36 category includes several subcategories based on contact configuration and coil type. Key article codes include 36.11 (1P, 10 A, monostable), 36.21 (2P, 10 A, monostable), and 36.61 (1P, 10 A, bistable). The code structure follows the pattern: 36.XX, where the first digit after the decimal indicates the number of poles (1 for 1P, 2 for 2P, 6 for bistable), and the second digit indicates the contact material or special features. Additional variants include 36.11.9.xxx for specific coil voltages (e.g., 36.11.9.005 for 5 VDC coil). These relays are available with standard or gold-plated contacts for low-level switching.
Electric Automation Network offers the complete Finder Series 36 range with real-time pricing and up to 65% discount compared to list prices.
