This galvanized cable entry box, MSCE, covers a partial depth of the enclosure. It has been tested according to IEC 61439, complies with form 4, and is available off the shelf. The box separates cable terminations from each functional unit and makes the terminations inaccessible from the cabling section, which in turn reduces potential health and safety hazards. Labour time to be spent is short as the holes for cable entry are pre-machined.

Description: | Steel cable entrance box which lets us to build up a system with the terminations to functional unit separated from each other, meeting the Form 4. With the MSCE each functional unit (compartment) has its own integral glanding facility. |
Material: | 1.25 mm galvanized steel. |

Advantage: | Customers are able to integrate the box into larger enclosure configurations, either for fixed or plug-in systems. The box separates cable terminations from each functional unit, as cable glands can be directly fitted, resulting in the section being rated to Form 4. |
Benefit: | Customer's required labour time is reduced as the holes used for cable entry are pre-machined. The cable entrance box fully complies with form 4, which is a necessary requirement for particular projects. If the enclosure's door to the cable section has been opened, the terminations are not accessible which reduces potential health and safety hazards. |
Comment: | Internal side panels (MSPS) are required in order to mount the cable entrance box. |
