The S62 series from DATALOGIC represents a family of compact photoelectric sensors housed in a rugged 50x50x18 mm plastic enclosure with an IP67 protection rating. These sensors are available with either LED or laser emission for high-resolution detection, covering all universal optic functions including diffuse proximity, polarized retroreflex, and background suppression. The series offers multivoltage Vac/dc power supply with SPDT relay output, as well as 10-30 Vdc versions with configurable NPN/PNP outputs or standard NO-NC outputs. Connection options include a 2-meter cable or a rotatable M12 4-pole connector, and a sensitivity/distance adjustment trimmer is provided for fine-tuning.
These photoelectric sensors are designed for installation in automatic machines, packaging lines, transportation systems, and automated warehouses. Their compact form factor and robust IP67 housing make them suitable for harsh industrial environments where space is limited and reliability is critical.
