The VLT Soft Start Controller MCD 100 is a soft starter for those facilities that don’t require a direct line starter. This converter is very compact and affordable as it requires no maintenance, is an "install and forget”. The MCD 100 is suitable for soft starting of motors up to 11kW.
The VLT Compact Starter MCD 200 from Danfoss includes two ranges of soft starters (MCD201 and 202) in the power range between 7.5 to 110 kW. Starters up to 30kW are mounted on DIN rail. This range is an optimal alternative to the delta or star starters.
The VLT Soft Starter MCD 500 features a handy display that lets users use advanced settings. Your current transformers measure the motor current to adjust the profile best suited to the engine ramp.
