ArTu L pavement enclosures are modular, floor-standing distribution cabinets designed for low-voltage electrical installations. These units typically feature a robust sheet steel construction with a high degree of protection (IP43 or higher), allowing for internal mounting of busbar systems, circuit breakers (MCCBs and MCBs), contactors, and control devices. The modular design supports flexible configurations with multiple compartments, cable entry plates, and gland plates, ensuring compliance with IEC 61439 standards. The ArTu L series is engineered for high short-circuit withstand capacity and efficient thermal management, making it suitable for main power distribution in industrial and commercial settings.
These pavement enclosures are primarily deployed in electrical substations, industrial plants, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects where space is at a premium and robust protection against environmental factors is required. They serve as main distribution boards (MDBs) or sub-distribution boards, housing critical switchgear for power distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), and automation systems. Typical applications include power supply for HVAC systems, lighting, machinery, and emergency power distribution in sectors like manufacturing, data centers, and utilities.
Key subcategories within the ArTu L pavement range include the ArTu L base units, extension units, and door kits. The main article codes follow a structured format, such as AB1501 for the base enclosure, with variations indicating size (e.g., AB1502 for a larger variant) or configuration (e.g., AB1510 for a unit with a specific door type). Other relevant codes include AB1520 for cable entry plates and AB1530 for busbar supports. These components are designed to be fully compatible, allowing for easy assembly and customization on-site.
