• Features:
  An electricity meter or energy meter is a device that measures the amount of electric energy consumed by a residence, business, or an electrically powered device.
  Electricity meters are typically calibrated in billing units, the most common one being the kilowatt hour [kWh]. Periodic readings of electricity meters establishes billing cycles and energy used during a cycle.
  GEIS offer a new electronic meter, which display the energy used on an LCD display, and they can also transmit readings to remote places via pulse output, ModBus RS485 or through Ethernet building a powerfull system of measure.In order to build this system, some accesories devices are offered like RS232/485 converter, RS485/ethernet converter or Pulse output concentrator. The concentrator can also receive pulses from other type of meters like gas meter or water meter in order to integrate in only one system all type of consuptions in a house, village or commercial and industrial building.
