BPT38 nVent HOFFMAN Vortex thermostat kit 3/8 BPT38

Description:

Brass solenoid valve and thermostat that limit the flow of compressed air to only when cooling is needed. The thermostat is factory set at 35 °C, but adjustable to any other temperature. The thermostat mounts in a 22 mm diameter hole, and it may be mounted through the enclosure wall or on a bracket inside the enclosure. The thermostatically controlled vortex cooler saves compressed air, and it is recommended where heat load fluctuates and continual purge is not required.

Feature:

Thermostat kit for vortex cooler to be connected to the vortex cooler.

Advantage:

The thermostat controls the temperature inside the enclosure by opening and closing a solenoid valve allowing compressed air through to the vortex cooler.

Benefit:

The compressed air is used efficiently as it is only supplied to the vortex cooler when the internal temperature is over what the thermostat kit is set to. This is particular important when mounting a vortex cooler due to the high operating costs to compress air.
