Description:

The bottom of the enclosure is sealed by the use of an adhesive gasket applied on to the frame around the openings at the bottom of the enclosure. The cables are sealed by the addition of adhesive foam placed between the bottom plates. The elasticity and the size of this foam ensures a tight seal around most cables.

Pack quantity:

1.6 m adhesive foam (30 x 25 mm) and 6 m adhesive gasket (4.5 x 8 mm). For 1600 mm wide enclosures please order 2 sets.

Feature:

The gasket is used to seal the space between the floor standing enclosure's bottom plates.

Advantage:

The empty space around installed cables when routed between bottom plates can be sealed to maintain the enclosure's protection degree.

Benefit:

The enclosure's protection degree is maintained avoiding the need to use cable glands. The gasket increases the customers flexibility when installing cables, as the cable diameter does not necessarily need to be identified in advance.
