Descripción:

To be fitted as an outdoor shelter on single mounted enclosures. The roof is slightly sloped and has a dripstrip. Machining is required. It increases the enclosure dimension in H:60 mm, D:20 mm and W:20 mm.

Material:

1.5 mm mild steel.

Acabado:

RAL 7035 structured powder coating.

If the rain hood is exposed to high levels of UV radiation, the ARF should be coated with 100% polyester paint. This can be ordered as a special accessory. The ARF is not compatible with 180º MMH hinges.

Feature:

Mild steel rain hood for mild steel wall mounted enclosures.

Advantage:

The rain hood is mounted on top of the enclosure and provides shelter via a sloped roof. The rain hood features a drip strip that protects the enclosure's door gasket from the accumulation of water while also shielding it from UV radiation.

Benefit:

The rain hood protects installed components from water as it removes the risk of accumulated water on top of the gasket, dripping into the enclosure when the door is opened.

Comment:

Wall mounted enclosures require machining before the rain hood can be mounted. Rain hoods are not compatible with combined enclosures. The overall dimensions of the enclosure will increase by 60mm in height, 20mm in width and 20mm in depth. If the enclosure is installed in an outdoor environment, then the rain hood will require a harsh environment power coating, which will provide better protection against corrosion and UV radiation.
