| Connection | For the removal of turned or rolled CK 1,6...R... or CK1,6...D... series contacts, the VC-EW 1,6 tool (Order No. 1884869) is required. For turned and rolled CK 1,6...ST... pin contacts and turned CK 1,6 ED...BU... socket contacts, the sleeve side of the tool is used. For rolled CK 1,6 ER-BU... socket contacts, the needle side of the tool must be used. To release the contacts, the tool is inserted from the front of the contact inserts in order to open the release mechanism. By pulling the wire, the appropriate contact can then be pulled out of the crimp chamber. |
